Frequently Asked Questions
What is sex therapy?
Sex therapy is a type of talk-based counselling that supports people in exploring their sexual wellbeing, relationships, intimacy, identity & pleasure. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together to understand what's going on & support meaningful change.
Who can benefit from sex therapy?
Sex therapy is for anyone — individuals, couples, or throuples — navigating concerns around intimacy, desire, communication, gender, sexuality or connection. All ages, genders, bodies & relationship styles are welcome here.
What would you like clients to know about couples therapy, before they come in?
When I work with couples, I always begin by meeting with each partner individually. This helps me get to know you both as individuals, outside the dynamic of your relationship, so I can offer grounded, non-biased support throughout our work together. I want each person to feel seen, safe & understood.
I also believe that all of our relationships are influenced by the connection we have with ourselves. If we want to experience incredible sex & deeply fulfilling relationships, we need to nurture a healthy, loving connection with our own body, mind & values. That’s why I take a holistic, person-centered approach that supports both individual & relational growth.
Whether you're navigating conflict, feeling disconnected, struggling with mismatched desire, healing from betrayal or longing for deeper intimacy, our work together can help you move forward with compassion, clarity & renewed connection.
